Nature of the tasks
- Analysis of new user requirements.
- Prototyping.
- Conceptual designing
- Write, maintain & test programs which reflect the specifications based on user requirements.
- Assist with the testing of such programs together with the other programs making up the system.
- Produce the relevant technical documentation and documentation for the support team.
- Assist with training the users of the system.
- Assist with evaluating and testing products to ensure that they conform to the Commission requirements and methodology.
- Ensure that they conform to WC3 standards and Newebia's high standards.
- Participation in meetings with the users.
Education
At least degree level in a relevant subject e.g. information systems/ecommerce
Experience
Minimum 3 years of programming in information systems or eCommerce
IT specific development products experience
Coldfusion, Oracle SQL, HTML, XHTML, PHP, JAVA (JAVA applets, and swing) and Javascript
IT specific technical experience
Windows XP, Windows 2000, LDAP, Internet Information Server, NT user directories, Macintosh platform, MYPHP, Goldmine, and FTP
