CFCoffee is a personal Web Development and ColdFusion blog maintained by me, Glyn Jackson. The blogs primary focus is on ColdFusion, Online Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
This Blog is a place for me to express my own opinions and to learn as I go along. If in this quest it assists or helps others in learning then it’s all been worth the effort.
I am 27 years old and Director of a web firm based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK. I am also the youngest member of their web team and often oversee different companies online marketing budgets and strategies.
My academic background is in Internet Commerce. I completed a degree in BSC (Hons) in Information Systems and Internet Commerce at Staffordshire University. I also spent 3 years studying prior at Stoke-on-Trent College learning business and computer programming mainly in JAVA.
My main area of expertise is in Online Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation. I have been asked to work on various projects as a consultant both in the UK and US. I have also given talks on Accessibility standards and Usability for web based and application design.
I have been developing with ColdFusion for 5 years (former .NET developer). and loves it. "I am not a veteran in ColdFusion but I do work on challenging projects which help me learn more about ColdFusion and if I can contribute to the community in anyway then, it's all good!
I got married in 2007 to my partner of 9 years. My interests outside work like most are cars mainly classic imports of which I have owed many, and gaming. TV at the moment some of my favourites are Dr. Who, Spooks, and Top Gear.
